A good towel, but I have too many. Giving this to my daughter to use for her dogs.

This basket belonged to my grandmother, who won it from the Edmonton Horticultural Society as a prize for her flower arrangement. Her arrangements were legendary.
Posting to the blog every day is harder than it looks, I’m realizing. Life gets busy. Here we are a few days later and attempting to catch up. We’ve been busy identifying things to declutter, taking pictures, and making trash runs. Time to document our progress.
As the main blogger, I’m changing the rules of the game a bit. I think posting three items each day from three people is a bit intense, so I think we’ll start featuring one thing each day. More manageable.
We did take a car-load of stuff to the ecostation. Got rid of the chair, the pillow, the paint, the batteries, some chemicals and the cardboard. All recycled.
I read boxes of books that we pick up at the public library booksale twice a year. These will be shared among friends and family, and leftovers get donated to charities or back to the library for their next sale.
We flattened all the boxes from the garage, there was quite a pile when all was done. No. 2 grandson did an excellent job of cutting and flattening the boxes and helping to load the car.
I pulled some paint cans from the basement. My sister gave me those Behr cans when she moved houses years ago, and the other cans where left in my house ten years ago. I’ve never used any of them, so time to go. There is still more for another trip.
This photo doesn’t show all of the paint that we took out of the garage, but most of it is here. We also missed photographing a box of old household chemicals that we got rid of.
